There's a fairy in our Garden

ollie....."Fall is fading fast here in da Ozarks. All the pretty leaves are gone and they took most of the flowers with them. That is with the exception of da biped's favorite rose.

ollie...."This is an amazing little rose that thrives under the harshest conditions. Roses normally don't do well in Missouri. First they end up drowning because of the torrential rains, then fungus sets in, and if there's anything left 15,001 varieties of bugs drop by to take a bite or two, that is with the exception of these little guys. Does anyone know the name of this little guy?"

I don't know the name of that rose, but it sure is pretty. Thank you for the information on the medicine that might help Herman. I will certainly ask his vet about it.

I don't know. We do have a climbing Peace Rose and I know that's not it.

We have a pink rose here too that is still blooming. Mom does not know the name but is always that it blooms as late as Thanksgiving!

Ok, I'll tell you what it's not. It's not a Cecil Brunner rose, cause he's a climber that only blooms once or twice a year. It's flowers however are the same size and color as Cecil's but repeatedly blooms all season long. When she's completely grown up he's about three feet tall and she loves to grow in the shade.

ps. You're going to feel silly if you don't quess the little roses's name. It's right there staring at you.

How beautiful! And they say "a rose, is a rose, is a rose". Obviously, not! Some are much hardier than others. It's so nice to see a bloom again. It'll be many months until I see another.

It must be a fairy rose then?
