Uh oh! We think our dad has broken the law!
Yup, our mum too. We like it when she rakes the leaves though, cuz it is fun to dive bomb the piles and scat them all over the place.
We don't have to worry about that law 'cause we don't have leaves to rake!! We think it's a good law though!!

The only problem if you have too many leaves and you don't rake them up, is they can kill the grass. That happened to us last year when Daddy got lazy a left a whole pile of leaves in the back yard.
They are very beautiful, though, and in principle I agree with the Japanese. A few leave on the ground will only act as fertilizer as they decay.
Maybe my mom and dad need to rake up leaves in the dark so they don't get caught and arrested! I have instructed them that they must deal with the leaves because they need to mulch them to put on all our garden beds for the winter...our leaves have a job to do and I'm just the cat to make sure they do it!

Thank Goodness for todays post, guys! Mom was going to break the law on Sunday! Wooooo, you topped her just in time! Now that means more attention on us! THANX!!! BTW...mom LOVES the first picture!
Our beans are really bad! they pay someone to break the law for them!
WOW! Dad's gonna be thrilled when I tell him ~ he's always looking for an excuse NOT to rake the leaves up!
