annie....."Hey you'all look at da Jolly Green Giant!"
angel-dog....."Who?"
annie....."Da Jolly Green Giant, da Biped."
angel-dog....."What is she doing out there?
annie...."She mowing the yard."
Angel-dog...."It's awful hot. Look at how red her face is."
smudge..."Why is she running back and forth?"
annie...."Because she only has about a half hour to mow da lawn before her battery runs out of power."
annie...."Hey biped! You missed a weed over there."
smudge..."Missed a weed? Da whole lawn is weeds."
annie..."We live in Missouri. If it's green and in your front yard it's lawn. If it's outside the yard it's hay."
angel-dog...."Btw, its Thankful thursday. What are we thankful for?"
annie....."Dumb dog. We're thankful dat cats don't have to mow lawns."

That's a great thing to be thankful for!! We're glad we don't have to mow lawns too!
Being as how our yard is mostly dirt (weeds don't even like to grow in it) we don't have to worry 'bout being called upon for mowing duty...
but then since we don't have thumbs it'd be kinda hard to push the mow machine anyways.
We are super glad we don't have to mow in the heat! We got mostly shade and dirt in the front yard, but the back has no shade and lots of grass.
My Mommie's face always turns bright red in the outside heat. It's very funny.
Your yard sounds like ours, mostly weeds. And do they grow!
We feel sorry for your mommy to have to mow in the heat. You pets are so lucky you can just watch and wait for her to come back inside and cater to your needs. So be nice to your mommy and make it easy for her, K?
We're glad we don't hafta mow the lawn either. We send dad out to do that.
